Ok, I'm too lazy to blog about my days. But I'll just blog about the interesting things.
I've realized that I'm now better friends with people, well some people, than before I left which is awesome! But that's not the interesting part of today.
I think Wednesdays are my favorite day, we have good subjects that day, and we have sport. Ok, I admit sport can be bad sometimes, but it really depends on what you're doing, and Rocka is FUN.
So we learnt part of a hip hop routine and the boys done better than the girls because of their confidence. :) Go the BOYS! Lawl. Anyhow at the end we got to freestyle, Miranda done the worm and I done the booty shake ;D
So after that we were going to go into town (Miranda and I) but instead of walking we decided to catch a bus :) So we waited for the bus to come which was pretty cool. It's the second time I took a town bus in my entire life! :o So yeah, twas pretty cool. We got dropped off at Woolies and went into office play (I know WTF with the name right?!), then we didn't really find any cool wigs, well there were some cool ones but we decided not to buy any, so then we went by Allans looking for a good song for the music concert on Wednesday September 2nd.
After that we went into Silly Willys, then we got some chips, and went to the music book store place. Whatever you call it. We stayed there until like, 5, then we went to a pay phone coz my phone had no battery :( So Miranda's mum picked us up fromt he war memorial park and we went to her house. Then while Miranda was making cake in a cup (twas delicious) I called my folks and told them I'd be staying at her house until after the auditions.
So we ate our cakes while watching that Sadie show, I think it's called Naturally Sadie or something. And then we kinda watched the simpsons while making friendship bracelets. :)
At some point we had dinner, which was macaroni and sausages. Then we picked up Emma and went to the youth theatre. I think I know where it is now! :D
It was kinda dark so I didn't really know the way, but that's not the point! We got there and filled in the form, then we sat and talked and stuff. They two peeps, Ned and... A lady whose name I don't remember talked about the plays and everything. There's two plays and now I'm too lazy to explain it. :)
So the thing is, we done this name game where you had to say an alliteration with your name in it, and an action. So like, Dramatic Dara and a pose, then everyone else goes Dramatic Dara and poses. :)
Then we played this game.. I don't know the name of it, but Ned said an emotion, after you were facing out of the circle, and then when you thought of a good pose you'd face inside the circle and when he goes, 1, 2, 3 you pose. :)
The first emotion was happyness and I won a trophy. :) Then we done anger. I was stradling an invisible person bashing them up and Aidan said that it's funny coz it's true. :) I'm still innocent though.. Right? *cough cough* You guys totally believe me. Lawl.
The third one wasn't really an emotion, it was a teapot.
Then we sat back down again and we got into pairs, we had these scripts that were only a few lines, there was person A and person B.
In the first round I went with Sarah.
Sarah.
Me.
(we were scuber divers in this one!)
Sarah - I think we're lost
Me - We're not lost
Sarah - Well where are we?
Me - I'm not sure
Sarah - Great. Now what are we suppoosed to do?
Me - Carry on I suppose
That one got a few laughs out of people, I don't think I'm good at scuba diving. Lawl.
The second one was this,
Sarah - Can you help me?
Me - Sorry, not at the moment
Sarah - I really need somebody to help me
Me - Try someone else
Sarah - Please
Me - Go away!
Then other people done theirs.
Then some people got chosen partners. It was funny, Sarah and I were holding hands coz we're whackos, and then I got paired up with her AGAIN! So we burst out laughing. Twas very funny, so then I got pair up with Kate and she has long hair :)
For ours, the first one was her being a big shot buisness woman and mother and I was the child.
Kate.
Me.
Me - Where are you going?
Kate - Uh... Wellington
Me - Are you running away?
Kate - No
Me - Got any money?
That one got some laughs out of people.
Then the second one Kate was blind.
Kate - (something I don't remember :S)
Me - It's alright
Kate - Who are you?
Me - I'm your friend
Kate - What do you want
Me - You're just about to find out
I said that in a really disturbing voice that you can guess so yeah. :)
Then we got handed some monologues, and then some people done a script.
I didn't get handed a script.
But nearly everyone done the monologues.
I don't remember what mine said, but I had my arm around an invisible persons should and at the end I done actions to "You killed her potential"
So then I got a ride with Emma and yeah. That was my afternoon, I've been away from home for roughly 12 1/2 hours.
See, I left for school at 8.30 am, then I got home at 9.15 pm.
Life is fun and wednesday rock!
There's an audition on Sunday but I can't go coz I'm going to Canberra. And you don't have to go on Sunday anyway. Then sometime next week we're gonna get a call to say if we made the cut or not, but even if you didn't get a part you can help backstage and everything. :)
So yeah. Twas fun.
